Houston, Texas – Fenix Solutions will support the Butterflies and Birdies Foundation at the 2nd Annual Butterflies and Birdies Clay Shoot, taking place Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Greater Houston Sports Club in Houston, Texas.

The fundraising event will bring together community supporters, businesses, and industry professionals for an afternoon of sporting clays while raising awareness and financial support for families affected by sudden infant death syndrome, also known as SIDS, stillbirth, and other forms of infant loss.

Members of the Fenix Solutions team will participate in the event, connect with fellow industry partners, and help support the foundation’s work within the Greater Houston community.

Turning Personal Loss into Purpose

The Butterflies and Birdies Foundation was formed by families who experienced the devastating loss of their children. The organization honors the lives of Ava Rae Arce, Clayton Tex Bennett, Chap Knox Robinson, and Jordan Marie Stapp while transforming the families’ shared grief into meaningful assistance for others facing similar circumstances.

As a nonprofit organization, the foundation works to increase awareness of SIDS and stillbirth, educate parents and caregivers, support grieving families, and fund research focused on the causes and prevention of infant loss.

The foundation also provides practical resources to families and healthcare facilities through several important programs.

One of its primary initiatives is the donation of Owlet Dream Socks to qualifying families. The wearable device monitors an infant’s pulse rate and oxygen saturation levels and alerts parents or caregivers when readings fall outside preset ranges. The foundation emphasizes that the device should be used alongside recommended safe-sleep practices and is not a replacement for them.

The organization also donates CuddleCots to hospitals. These specialized cooling systems allow families experiencing stillbirth additional time to hold their baby, take photographs, involve family members, and say goodbye in a more personal and meaningful way.

Supporting Families Through Community Involvement

These events provide critical funding for the foundation’s outreach, education, family-support programs, equipment donations, and infant-loss research initiatives.

The event is scheduled from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on May 5, 2026, at the Greater Houston Sports Club, located at 6700 McHard Road in Houston.
